Bio

Following an education focusing on design and technology in his native England, Andy developed a successful career in IT before making the switch to Architecture. Two decades spent delivering large and complex IT projects to organizations throughout the UK, including many within the design and construction industry, provided much experience in organizational planning, solution analysis and design, change management, risk and issue management, contracting, bidding and tendering, and budget management.

Andy’s time spent working in London to implement IT projects in buildings old and new, brought him into contact with much inspirational architecture. Following a relocation to Vancouver with his wife more than 10 years ago, Andy made the decision to pursue a career in architecture to combine his talent for project management and his passion for design and technology.

Education & Credentials

Andy holds qualifications in Design & Technology and Project and Program Management from the UK. In addition to his role at Stuart Howard Architects Inc, as a current participant in the Syllabus Program through the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, Andy is working towards a Diploma in Architecture and subsequent Architectural Registration. Andy is a Student Associate of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and is an Associate member of the AIA.
