Saba Mirhosseini

Intern Architect

Bio

Saba has been passionate about architecture for as long as she can remember, inspired early on by their father’s work as an architect and countless hours spent exploring design through books, drawings, and Legos. She has worked as an Architect with CAAT Studio in Iran and as a Designer with Arno Matis Architecture in Canada, as well as contributing as an educator with ArchiKID and a research assistant at Grey & Ivy, where they nurtured creativity in children and youth by teaching them to imagine and build through design. Their achievements include a merit certificate from the RAIC International Prize 2022, multiple scholarships from the University of Manitoba, and recognition in global competitions such as the World Architectural Festival, where their Dream Pathway project won category honors in 2022.

Currently serving as an Intern Architect, Saba is pursuing completion of their IAP through AIBC while continuing to refine their skills in design development, management, analysis, and detail-oriented problem-solving. Known for their curiosity and creative approach to questioning and exploring ideas, they thrive on new challenges that push their architectural thinking further. Outside of work, they draw inspiration from nature, travel, music, concerts, and games—whether building puzzles, experimenting with new drinks, or strategizing over board games—all of which fuel their creativity and passion for designing thoughtful, innovative spaces.

Education Credentials

Saba is a member of the AIBC and RAIC, with a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Manitoba and Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from WTIAU. She also received a certificate of completion from IAAC GSS Tehan and CAAI School of Architecture.
